Habitas is a sans serif font family, influenced by the severe aesthetics of Roman and Greek architecture. The distinct characteristics of the lowercase “i,” reminding of ancient columns, are reflected throughout the typeface—in other letters and symbols as well as in Habitas’ italic styles. Unlike traditional italics, horizontal bars end upright and highlight the column-shaped “i” by conflicting with the underlying angle.
